Fun fact of the day: Want to feel what it's like to be blind? Put a very strong magnet to the back of your head. It will scramble the occipital lobe of the brain, which regulates sight, and will cause you to go blind until a couple minutes after the magnet is removed. You can also magnetize your temples to simulate deafness.

Fun fact of the day: Just like you were lied to about the number of senses, you have also been lied to about the law of conversation of matter or whatever... ya'know, the one that says matter can never be created or destroyed. It CAN be destroyed through the use of a thermonuclear or fusion-powered explosion, although very little is actually destroyed. Fat Man, the name of the Plutonium bomb dropped on Nagasaki, annihilated .7 kilograms of matter from the face of the universe that will never be seen again. Buuuut, Fat Man is pitifully tiny compared to the nukes in our arsenal today. Most are ~15 times more powerful and can annihilate 10 kilograms each.

That .7 kilograms Fat Man converted into energy created enough power to run today's United States for 8 hours. That means every TV, car, iPad, airplane, toaster... errething.

But if gases were affected by gravity, then they would settle like liquids and solids, meaning the heaviest gases (i.e. Argon; not breathable) would envelope the surface of the earth, and the lightest gases (i.e. Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Hydrogen) would settle at the top edge of the atmosphere. Instead, they're spread evenly throughout the atmosphere. It's complicated and crap...

Fun fact of the day: Judging by the amount of work required to produce movement, the bicycle is the most efficient machine ever created. It actually requires less work than walking.
