Well, I participated in a thirty-hour famine, and I just got back from school. At nine-thirty pm. Earlier than gala night, but meh. So I can't eat until 3 pm tomorrow. Some people gave up right after they left school or didn't participate at all, but that wouldn't feel right. And I guess I'm not as hungry as I predicted I would be, but I feel so horrible being a first-world country now, which was kinda the point of it I guess. The whole thing was so depressing but I was with my friends and we all got through it. The last thing we did was count to five and blow out each of our candles and in less than five minutes, over fifty lives were gone, essentially. So then there was a mass grave in the playground and geez, it was so horrible to look at. :\
