Raindapple opened her eyes just a crack. She was lying outside the nursery, where six-moon old Squirrelkit, Ashkit, and Dovekit played. They were getting quite big, she noted with pride. She'd just given birth when they moved. It was a wonder all of her kits were still bright and energized.

Cottonpaw padded in, dropped a small mouse on the freshkill pile, and padded over to the nursery for old times sake. "Hello, Raindapple." He mewed calmly.

"Hey, Cottonpaw." she mewed, smiling happily. Squirrelkit instantly launched herself at him. "Cottonpaaaaaw!" she sang.

The floofeh white-brown-blah tom looked down, blinked, and smiled. "Hello, Squirrelkit!" In his enthusiastic voice which is about as enthusiastic as a teenage girl who just got her first zit. Weirdo. Anyhoo. Yeah, I need extra length for dis post. :D
