Full Extent Pokemon
We all know that pokemon that have evolved twice don't evolve a third time. We all know that Pokemon that have not evolved and show no signs of evolving.... don't evolve. I'm guessing a Pokemon's limit to evolution has something to do with the body, and their minds. They don't have enough energy to evolve more than they already have. I'm guessing that it could even be life-threataning if they tried to evolve again. Or the creators of Pokemon are just too lazy to make another evolution. Have fun reading this long description. XD
So, I have created something called "Full Extent" Pokemon. These are the evolutions of Pokemon that I have created. Full Extent Pokemon have evolved to retrieve from their mind and body power that they could not achieve in a less evolved form. Aquiring a Full Extent Pokemon can be done many different ways, and they are all very difficult.
The first is to train even harder, but this solely depends on the Pokemon's wishes. If it does not want to evolve, then it will not evolve. To achieve Full Extent, a Pokemon needs to especially get past the block in its mind, and it can only do this if it, to put it bluntly and cheesily, believes. It's almost purely psychological. Training a Pokemon to its Full Extent form is extremely tough. Many different excersises must be preformed, because if the body is unstable for evolution, it will damage itself severely. A huge reason for a Pokemon not evolving is because it's body is not strong enough, even if the mind is. The body will not allow itself to damage itself, therefore causing a mental block. You can tell if a Pokemon is ready to evolve into a Full Extent form if they start to glow. It will not be a white glow that engulfs it, but rather their own colors becoming more vivid.
Some Pokemon cannot evolve even if they reach their "glowing point", because they require an item to do so. Sometimes, another evolution stone is required, but other items scattered throughout the regions can be required. If exposed to the item when aglow, they will evolve.
The third option is a natural occurance. If they have been exposed to something in nature or if left in a "pinch", they will evolve. However, this type of evolution is not the best, because they risk an %85 chance of having side affects from Full Extent evolution.
The final option is definantly not reccomended (of course this calls for a cheesy movie and storyline). It involves scientifically (invloving a lab) removing the mental block and forcing the Pokemon to evolve by exposing them to massive amounts of energy. This can be extremely dangerous. It's like drinking a slushie too fast; drink too fast, and you freeze. Only in a Pokemon's case, it seems to be the opposite. Too much energy consumed too fast can result in their energy becoming as explosive as Francium. Even Pokemon that make it through the process can be inflicted with severe side affects. There is a %99 chance of having side affects.
Sometimes, using science to evolve Pokemon into Full Extent forms can be a way of cure. Sometimes, a Pokemon is physically capable, but the mental block is still there. They may have way too much energy, energy that they can't control. When your glass fills up, get a bigger one.
As stated throughout the post, there can be side affects when evolving. This relies purely on trust with your Pokemon. If they do not trust you, they have a very high chance of having these side affects, so it is necessary to have the tightest bond possible. These side affects are: If they do not like you, they will break the ball you caught them with and leave you, they can become insane with power, and can be more prone to illness. If they have a strong bond with you, they may leave you for a short period of time to learn how to control their power as not to hurt anyone. The other side affects can still apply.
Some Pokemon do not have the ability to evolve because they have already reached Full Extent. This is refering to legendaries, of course. That is why they are so special, and what makes them unique.
I think that's it with that explanation. xD Now, depending on how my scanner works, I'll be posting pictures. :D I WILL BE TAKING REQUESTS!!!

XD I think that was subconciously the point. I didn't really like Slowking until I evolved him. Now he's freakin' epic.

Re: Full Extent Pokemon
I'm trying to make them look like the first, second, and third gen as much as possible. To do that, I don't over-accessorize or try to put in too much detail. I keep it simple, yet original at the same time... It's hard. xD

Re: Full Extent Pokemon
I am going to kick karma in the rear! Whenever my dad leaves, the technology ALWAYS goes frickin' haywire! So now the only "good" computer in thr house won't turn on and I'm stuck having to share with my little siblings. Now, I could have lived with that, but no~ Karma also had to take away my ability to scan my pictures. Drawing with a tablet is extremely hard, and we've never really gotten along. So now, I can't scan anything because our stupid scanner won't connect to my brother and sister's gitchy computer.
