Broken silence

CHAPTER 1
" Are you ready?" Taine's mom asked. Taine nodded. Taine was a tall 11 year old girl with glasses that had a black frame. Her hair was short, up to her ears, in the summer and somewhat long in the winter. It was a mix of brown and blond. Next to her was a red and black checkered backpack filled with clothes. Taine held a stuffed tiger in her hands. She stood in the middle of a sky blue colored room filled only with boxes.
" Then lets go." mom said and led them out of the three story apartment and into a red Cherokee jeep. It was old, rusted, dented and the paint was even beginning to peel of but it was strong and safe. Taine's mom got in the driver's seat and Taine got in the back left side. Next to her mother was her father. They were both about the same height as her. Her father had short brown, curly hair but he always had a hat on except in the summer, when it got really hot. He was skinny, but mom wasn't! /mom's hair was changed a few times so this time it was long and blond with brown strands.Also, her parents were never officially married.
The jeep rumbled to life and began to drive away from the house. Beside Taine was her older, 15 year old, brother Tayler. His hair was just like dad's and he had blue eyes. Taine watched the tree's fly by at the side of the highway. [Just another move./i] she thought and squeezed her tiger. Taine got it when she was around five or six and had "him" ever since. She called it Jaguar. Tayler suddenly took Jaguar from her hand and said, " you're to old for stuffed animals." and dangled it out the window. Taine grabbed his arm and forced it back inside the car, prying open his hand taking Jaguar back. Taine glared at him, holding Jaguar tightly. Tayler smiled and threw his basketball at Taine. She instinctively caught it and when she did he yelled, " Taine took my basketball from me!" dad sighed and said, " Taine just give him the basketball." Taine threw it at Tayler and he caught it. She looked at him with a smoldering look, but Tayler just smiled. Taine looked back out the window and the rest of the ride was silent.
I'm lazy and i need to do something but I'll Finnish typing this out later cuz it's LONG! plz comment!

It gets really annoying when every sentence says 'Taine'. Find a substitute. xI And and and and andddddddddddddddddddddd~
It kinda bugs me when people describe things directly, like in the first paragraph. I don't really know how to explain it, but try and ease the peoples' descriptions in to the story.

Although I did become frightened when the stuffed animal almost went out the window. ;~; I dunno. Things like that just frighten me.

It scares the crap out of me when I have the window open and there's a lot of my stuff kinda loose in the car. D;

here, i'll type up some more.
After about an hour the car turned and parked in a hidden drive way. The ground was rocky and some trees grew large on one side. on the other were tree's that looked like bushes lined up in a straight line from the top of the drive way to the bottom. Mom opened the door and unbuckled. " Go on inside kids!" she said. Tayler shot out of the car and into the house.
The house was covered in old red shingles. A side yard was on the left side of the house. 'the only place with grass.' she thought.She got out of the car and up three concrete stairs. The light purple door was wide open.Taine watched her brother run around the house like a three year old in a hotel room.Taine sighed and looked around the house.
In front of her was a large closet. to the left was a large room, then a room in front of that and the kitchen to the right of it. To the left, blocked by the door, was the bottom of a small staircase. At the top of it was a small hallway. on the right were two doors. One leading to a bed room and the other leading to the bath room. On the right were three doors. Two leading to a bed room and one leading to a small closet.
Taine looked outside. Her parents were discussing about the condition of the house and what they would improve. Taine figured they wouldn't be going in for a while and closed the door. She walked up the stairs and saw a note on the bathroom door. She took it and read. The note said, " Dear Taine, I know you must be upset with the move but i hope that "she" will help you feel better. Love, mom."
She opened the door and shut it behind her. She heard a faint scratching noise and slid the tub door open. A small cat With short black fur and Orange paws and tail tip hoped out. The cat looked up at Taine and purred, yellow eyes glowing with warmth.
